Training

Complete training is provided in the following areas:

Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers

This CPR Class is required for all medical personnel.  From Doctors to Nurses, Police,  Fire, Lifeguards and Medical Assistants. This class covers one and two rescuer CPR for adults, children and infants, Foreign Body Air Obstruction (choking), the use of ventilation aids, barrier devices and the Semi-Automatic External Defibrillator (SAED).

Adult CPR Class

The simplest form of CPR can be the easiest to learn. It covers CPR and choking for adults, which the American Heart Association defines as approximately eight years old or older. This level of training is perfect for the workplace or for everyday life, to be ready in case the unthinkable happens to a loved one. If you have access to an AED at work, then training can be added to the class. This course meets the requirements for Personal Trainers and Aerobic Instructors, as well as the Choke-Saver needed by restaurant owners.

Infant and Child CPR

If you have or take care of a child under the age of eight, then this is the class for you. It is a requirement for Daycare Providers and is essential for anyone that spends a lot of time with kids.
Maybe even more important to being able to perform CPR is the ability to clear a choking infant's airway. New parents, after school sport coaches, and anyone that volunteers at school should take this training.

Basic First Aid

Provides the lay-rescuer with the knowledge and skills needed to act in emergency situations. You will learn to recognize life-threatening emergencies in adults and have the knowledge to help minimize the consequences of injury or sudden injury until professional help arrives. Skills taught include: primary and secondary survey, shock, allergic reactions, spinal cord injury, fractures, sprains, seizures, poisoning bleeding and universal precautions. This class starts where the CPR class stops.

Pediatric First Aid

This class certifies in infant (0 - 12 months) and child (1 - 8 years) first aid. All the skills taught in the Basic First Aid course are specifically geared towards young children. A requirement for all day care providers and needed by school sport coaches.
